Dr. Mayman at the first Bike HSS event!
Dr. Mayman joined his colleagues in the Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement (ARJR) Service for the first-ever BIKE HSS (www.bikehss.org) event on Saturday, September 28th at HSS Westchester in White Plains.
Dr. Mayman originally signed on to fundraise for the event as a “virtual rider”. As he began to see so many generous donations roll in from past patients including kind notes of gratitude, he decided to buy a bike and join the race. This was Dr. Mayman’s first-ever ride, and he is proud to have finished 25 miles! Dr. Mayman was also honored as the event’s second place fundraiser!
Our supporters’ enthusiasm for our mission helped this event raise nearly $800,000 for musculoskeletal health with Team ARJR raising nearly $125,000 to help advance joint replacement research and discovery, provide the world’s best personalized care, and empower the next generation of leaders through education and knowledge sharing.
Please enjoy a few great photos from a wonderful day celebrating HSS and mobility!
